In Jo's lesson I had to look at one jazz dance style so i decided that i will look at lyrical dance. Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet with jazz and contemporary dance. It involves use of ballet technique with more graceful and expressive movements. The most known and popular movements of lyrical dance are : Pirouettes, arabesques, falls to the floor and leaps. It has quite emotive movements which means that theres loads of feelings involved. Musically, the choreography flows and corresponds with the songs lyrics and the music.
